  Qualita Oro

Qualita Oro or Lavazza Gold, as it is known in Australia, is the iconic product that made Lavazza famous worldwide and is also the first product to be imported to our shores by the founders of Valcorp Fine Foods back in 1955. Its classic Italian blend has been a favourite of Australian coffee connoisseurs for many years.

Qualita Oro is 100% Arabica coffee, typical of the Northern Italian style of espresso, with a subtle tang and gentle sweetness. It is a coffee that has a distinct individuality, yet is versatile. Some coffee lovers prefer it made in the classic stove top coffee pot, some brew it in a plunger, and others use a filter or home espresso machine.

Qualita Oro is universally sought for its ability to please all coffee lovers.

  Caffé Espresso

As the black packaging suggests, Caffe Espresso is Lavazza’s strongest coffee in the product range, and is blended for those who love the pleasure of a genuine Italian espresso.

The 100% Arabica beans are blended from specific locations to produce an intense aroma, with the full body and strength that espresso drinkers expect.

  Il Perfetto Espresso

Whilst the name “Il Perfetto”, meaning “perfect”, has been in Australia for a few years, the product is now being relaunched to offer Australians a blend that reflects the style of coffee they seek in cafes, but were unable to make at home or in the office.

No one will be surprised to learn that sales of domestic espresso machines have increased dramatically over the last three years. These machines require particularly finely ground beans to produce the café-style results, so consumers and baristas will welcome the availability of a fine-ground coffee with real Italian heritage.

Il Perfetto is an intense and distinctive blend that will produce a dense and lasting crema. It is equally good as an espresso, or in a milk-based coffee, with its 100% Arabica blend giving the home barista the best possible product to make coffees that will satisfy the need for a true café style experience.

The Il Perfetto packaging is deep blue, similar to the packs that consumers see in cafes, so selecting “The Café Blend” in supermarkets will be a simple choice.

  Signature Blend

Emilio Lavazza’s grandfather, Luigi, founded Lavazza in 1895 in Torino, Italy. Lavazza coffee was an immediate success because Luigi took the unusual step for the time of blending beans from different sources to produce a more rounded, satisfying coffee than the normal “single origin”.

Since then, Lavazza’s worldwide success has relied heavily on the skills of its blenders, accompanied by constant innovation and responding to consumer needs. Recognising that the palates of Australians today are more refined given the vast selection available of quality wine and food, Lavazza have created a premium coffee blend just for us: The Signature Blend.

Signature is created from distinctive high grown washed Arabica coffee beans, and is all about subtlety. Like many of Italy’s and Australia’s best wines, it is described as “multi-layered, with real intensity and finesse”, and is ideal for connoisseurs who truly appreciate the best coffees.

Emilio Lavazza, who has been President of Lavazza for 16 years, has given his name to this blend, reflecting its unique qualities, and recognises his 53 years of innovation and commitment.

  Crema e Gusto

Crema e Gusto is blended from Arabica and Robusta beans to produce a coffee that is medium strength and full bodied, typical of the style favoured in Southern Italy.

It produces excellent results in all types of coffee makers, but is especially sought by those who use the traditional stove-top coffee pot.

Crema e Gusto is perfect as an espresso or a long black (an “Americano” in Italy), and because it is medium strength, also produces excellent milk based coffees.

It is available ground in new 200g and 500g pack sizes.
  Crema e Aroma

Crema e Aroma is perfect for milk-based coffees, whether you like full flavoured cappuccino, or Café Latte. It is blended from selected Arabica and Robusta beans to produce a smooth, mild coffee that delivers genuine Italian flavour.

The delicacy of the Arabica’s and the full body of the Robusta’s guarantee a distinctive, smooth flavour through frothed or heated milk.

Using Crema e Aroma for the first time will surprise and delight latte and cappuccino aficionados.

  Caffé Decaffeinato

Lavazza Caffe Decaffeinato has always been recognised as one of the best decaffeinated coffees available. Using highest quality, selected origins and meticulous roasting, Decaffeinato delivers full flavour and rich body in every cup.

Using the state of the art CO2 process, this method removes 99.9% of the caffeine while leaving the essential properties of the coffee unaltered, ensuring aroma and flavour.
